Bogotá is the Colombian largest city with around 10 million inhabitants. It has important tourist sites such as the historic centre of La Candelaria, where there are several museums, such as the Gold Museum, which houses an important collection of pre-Hispanic cultures.

Conference venues
The venues of the congress will be the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University campuses. These are located in the city centres of both Bogotá and Cartagena, close to public transport stations and surrounded by large shopping and service areas.
