The peace accords pose new challenges for the country's post-conflict urban agenda. Hundreds of small and medium-sized cities have been affected by the phenomena of violence in the country. The peace agreements open a new scenario for thinking about the transformation of these territories, from their planning processes to the generation of new productive and connectivity infrastructures.
Papers are invited on topics related, but not limited, to:
- Planning of intermediate cities
- Transition and normalisation zones
- Social design and coexistence
- Urban migration, services and spaces for inclusion
- Sustainable development of small towns
- Memory and spaces for physical and symbolic reparation
- Globalization and post conflict
